Founder & creator

SHALMIAK is founded and run by a solo female entrepreneur from Finland. All designs, product selections, and content on this site are created by Sari Ahokainen - with love, intention, and a strong personal vision.

All production is done by carefully selected partners who share our values of quality, sustainability, and ethical practices. This ensures that every piece of colorful, sustainable clothing and accessory you receive is made responsibly, with respect for both the people and the planet.

SHALMIAK was created by Finnish designer Sari Ahokainen - known for her love of vibrant colors and funky designs. Sari finds inspiration in everyday life, believing that every detail can be seen from many different perspectives.

Sari hopes that her designs bring people joy and strength in their daily lives and a sense of hope for the future. Especially in today’s world, even small, uplifting things can make a big difference.
